Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Dahling Digital LLC ('we,' 'our,' or 'us') collects, uses, and protects the personal information you provide when reserving a first-edition copy of Luxury, Style, and the Open Road. We respect your privacy and collect only what is necessary to fulfill your reservation.

What we collect

When you reserve a copy, we collect: your email address, the timestamp of your reservation, your reserved copy number, and optional preferences you provide (such as language or paid-edition interest). We do not collect your name, mailing address, phone number, or payment information at the reservation stage. Shipping details are collected separately, only if and when your copy is ready to ship.

How we use it

Your email is used to: confirm your reservation, send you shipping details four weeks before your copy is dispatched, and — only if you opt in — notify you about the forthcoming paid edition. We do not send marketing emails, promotional content, or newsletters without your explicit consent.

How we store it

Your email is stored in a secure database hosted by Supabase (a SOC 2 Type II-compliant infrastructure provider). Access is restricted to the author and authorized personnel. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with third parties, except as required to fulfill your reservation (for example, a shipping carrier when your book is dispatched) or as required by law.

Your rights

You may request at any time to: (a) access the information we hold about you, (b) correct or update your information, (c) delete your reservation and associated data, or (d) withdraw your consent for any future communications. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@dahlingdigital.com. We will respond within thirty (30) days.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses no tracking cookies and no third-party advertising. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking tools. Any aggregate analytics we collect (such as anonymized page view counts) contain no personally identifying information.

Children

This site and the associated book are intended for adult readers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of sixteen. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact hello@dahlingdigital.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page and update the 'Last updated' date below. Material changes will be communicated to reservation holders via email.
